First time blogger...

This is a view of the farm from about a year ago. A similar picture today would look the same and also different. The cows would be in the upper pasture. There would be more cars in the driveway. Also a broken window in the farm store door. :) In this first blog post I'm feeling reminiscent and grateful. It is often said the first year is the hardest when starting anything, particularly a business and particularly a brand new farm on a very old farm.

The community support has been incredible. A huge advantage of small towns is that everyone knows everyone so when you need something, someone knows someone who can help.

We're going keep this one short and sweet, but fear not, more to come about why we moved to this small town to purchase this farm and build this business. Please stay tuned. Thank you!
