Sometimes it seems there's so much going on it's hard to pick any one thing to talk about. Focusing locally, our ag commission hosted the first annual harvest dinner. Working with neighbors and friends to use foods produced in our town was a joy. Then to see the community come together and enjoy a meal family style brought everything together. It made us think how far we've strayed from making or knowing the people who make our food. It's now trending to have an 'ingredie

This is a view of the farm from about a year ago. A similar picture today would look the same and also different. The cows would be in the upper pasture. There would be more cars in the driveway. Also a broken window in the farm store door. :) In this first blog post I'm feeling reminiscent and grateful.
